TEHRAN MP from Gonabad, Azadi Azadmanesh, who had tabled a plan in the Majlis for the impeachment of the health minister, said that the plan has remained in abeyance.
The MP said considering the ministry's readiness to follow up the 13 cases cited by the MPs and in view of the approach of the presidential elections, "We deemed it advisable to stop the plan temporarily." Azadmanesh said, "We did this so that the president can continue his work with peace of mind, far from preoccupations." Meanwhile, MP from Khorramabad Abdolrahim Baharvand said the plan for the impeachment of the Education Minister Hossein Mozaffar is being drawn up and signatures are being collected.
He said the reason for tabling the plan is weak management by the Education Ministry in the provinces, particularly the sharp educational decline in Lorestan Province.
